the perfect summer drink

Hi cuties!! How are we this week? I cannot believe that it is finally JUNE! And officially SUMMER!! It has been so hot where I live and my apartment’s AC is broken 😀😀😀 which is just great timing. It’s 81 degrees in my apt and 95 degrees outside! Yay! It’s fine, I’m fine. Just a bit sweaty lmao. Anyways, this week I have been searching for pretty much anything to cool myself off, and I stumbled upon this DELICIOUS creamy raspberry limeade 😌 It’s got the perfect amount of sweetness, a little bite of tart, and is SOOOO refreshing!!! I also feel like this would be the perfect drink to double or triple and bring to any summer gathering. And if your AC is also broken in this heat….. I’d get chugging if I were you 😀 The recipe and all of the details will be below!! ENJOY 🍋‍🟩💝🍹☀️💋

Creamy Raspberry Limeade -

MAKE TIME: 5 minutes | SERVINGS: 1-2 | VEGAN | DAIRY FREE | GLUTEN FREE |

(If bringing to a gathering, I recommend tripling the recipe)

Ingredients:

• 1 lime

• 1/2 cup frozen raspberries

• 2 TBSP raw honey

• 2 TBSP vegan sweetened condensed milk (can use regular if not dairy free!)

• 1.5 - 2 cups of water (can also swap for coconut water… yum)

• Ice

• Pinch of salt

Directions:

1. Start by scrubbing your lime clean, then dry off

2. Slice the lime into small chunks, then add to a large jar/cup

3. To the jar/cup add 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries, 2 TBSP of raw honey, 2 TBSP of sweetened condensed milk, and then use a muddler to mash for 1-2 minutes, until everything is mixed together and softened

4. Pour in the water, then top with a lot of ice

5. Add in a pinch of salt, then use a spoon or straw to stir the drink until everything is fully combined. Enjoy! <3
